Anti-Bullying Project

Students are invited to create a poster that illustrates a child being kind to another person. Below are some examples. Students should feel free to come up with their own ideas.

An act of kindness is sharing a book.

• An act of kindness is giving a compliment.

• An act of kindness is inviting a new student to play at recess.

• An act of kindness is helping to keep your classroom tidy.

Contest winners will receive prizes, to be determined. Selected posters will be displayed in the district calendar, social media, and APS website.

Poster judging will be based on the acts of kindness theme, creativity, artistic quality, and neatness. Winners will be notified through their building principal.

Contest guidelines:

1. The contest is open to all students in the elementary school.

2. Entries are due by Friday, March 6, 2020, and must be turned in to homeroom teachers or a staff member designated by the school.
