Hello Families of Mason CLC, this is Mrs. Kochis, Principal of Mason.

Here is your “Friday Five” important things to know for the week of February 14, 2022.

1. There is NO SCHOOL for students on Friday February 18 or Monday February 21. 

2. Akron After School begins on Monday. If you signed your student up, please pick your child up at 4:00 when the program lets out Monday-Thursday. 

3. We have some programs starting up at Mason that I want to make sure you know about. Girl Scouts are visiting our Kindergarten through 3rd graders and a flier was sent home already. More information to come. The boys basketball Youth Empowerment League will begin practices next Thursday. Information came home today. 

4. Congratulations to 2 of our Kindergarten parents who completed the Key Steps to Success program with their children: Mason Kindergarten students Devin Hubbard and Bailey Coulter.

5. Each week we draw names of students who had perfect attendance to win a prize from the office. Winners were announced this afternoon at school, and students got to choose from the prize closet.
