Here are your “Friday Five” important things to know for the week of November 7, 2022.

1. There is NO SCHOOL for students on Tuesday, November 8.

2. Akron Children’s Hospital will be administering flu shots at school on November 7. We only administer flu shots to students who sign up. A consent form was sent home with your child and more copies are available in the office if you’re interested. 

3. Fall Picture Day retakes are on Thursday Nov. 10 from 9:00-10:30. Only students who were absent, or parents request will have their picture taken that day. 

4. Please join us tomorrow, November 5 at Elizabeth's Bookshop & Writing Centre (647 E. Market St.) for weekly storytime Saturdays at 10:00 am. This week's featured reader is Wes the Keeper of Akron Honey! We'll get started with this free community event at 10 am and a snack is provided! 

5. Each week we draw names of students who had perfect attendance to win a prize from the office. Winners were announced this afternoon at school, and students got to choose from the prize closet.
