Here are your “Friday Five” important things to know for the week of December 12, 2022.

1. Please mark your calendars for some upcoming important dates: Dec. 14 Holiday Concerts Grades K-1 at 9:00am and grades 2-3 at 1:00pm, Dec. 15 Title I Reading Night “Pancakes in Pajamas” from 5:00-7:00pm

2. As we begin to see colder winter weather approaching, please keep an eye on news alerts for Akron Public Schools to be closed due to inclement weather. 

3. Mason’s Winter break includes NO SCHOOL for students on December 22 through January 5. Students return to school on January 6 for our Winter Field Day. 

4. Mason is currently taking nominations for our 22-23 Teacher of the Year. If you would like to nominate a teacher, please see the link in your email. LINK HERE

5. Each week we draw names of students who had perfect attendance to win a prize from the office. Winners were announced this afternoon at school, and students got to choose from the prize closet.
