Here is your Friday Five important things to know for the week of January 21, 2019.

There is no school for students on Friday, January 18 or Monday, January 21, 2019.

PIC will be sponsoring upcoming events, including an art show/ice cream social and family Math night. Please watch for details coming home soon.

There will be an attendance competition beginning on February 1st. Students who have perfect attendance for the month of February with no absences or tardies will be invited to an exclusive pizza party. February only has 18 school days. Please try to reach the goal of perfect attendance by being at school on time for all 18 days!

Attention parents of students in grades 3rd-6th. Please plan to attend a free parent workshop at Mason on January 24 at 8:30am. The Akron Police Department will be presenting regarding online safety. We hope you can make it for this special event.

When school is cancelled due to inclement weather or other emergencies you will receive a notification phone call. Please make sure the office has your most updated phone numbers so that you get the alert. You can also check local television and radio stations, or social media outlets.
