Mason CLC Friday Five
Important things you need to know...
For the week of 4/1/2019

Hello Families of Mason CLC, this is Mrs. Kochis, Dean of Students.
Here is your Friday Five important things to know for the week of April 1, 2019.
-
Please join us for free Family Poetry Night on April 4, 2019 from 2:45-4:45pm. This is our last family event of the school year. Since April is National Poetry Month, we will spend time working on original poetry and end the evening with a hot dog dinner at no cost.
-
All Mason families have been invited to have “Breakfast with the Bunny” on Saturday April 6 from 9:00-11:00am at the First Congregational Church of Akron located at 292 E. Market St. This event is free to the public and will also offer free fingerprinting for children through the program of Guardians Advocating Child Safety and Protection.
-
We have various flyers in the office for different programs, such as a summer camp, cheerleading program and tiny tots basketball. Please stop in to see the options if you’re looking for extracurricular activities to get your child involved with.
-
Please make sure students are arriving to school on time. Breakfast is served from 7:50-8:15. At 8:15 the first morning bell rings and students report to class. If students are not in their classroom by 8:30am they are tardy. Students entering class after 8:30am is disruptive to the learning environment. By arriving on time, students begin their day with structure and routine and hear the important introductions to the days lessons and activities.
-
All Mason students will participate in a career day at Mason during their school day on Thursday April 18, 2019. We are looking forward to this fun event to help get our students career ready!
Thank you and enjoy your weekend!
